Pick me up soup
I work a lot. I mean, A LOT a lot. Seven days a week, 6am til 10pm so I burn out really fast.
I was feeling super run down recently and I simply cannot afford to get sick so I thought of all the good things to put in my body and I felt sooo much better after I had it.

If you want to add extras in of course go for it, but the point of the soup is something easy to drink, something nourishing, and it makes you feel good inside and is actually good for you too nutrient wise.
Prep time: 5 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
Serves: 2
Ingredients
500ml bone broth
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp dried seaweed
1/2 cup cooked/left over white rice
1 egg, whisked
2cm ginger, smashed
1 large garlic clove, crushed
1 slice lemon
Method
Bring the bone broth up to a boil and add in the ginger.
Whisk the egg, turn down the heat, then slowly pour in the egg into the hot broth, stirring gently so the egg turn into ribbons, and dont scramble.
Add the rest of the ingredients, and simmer for 5 minutes to let the ingredients infuse.
Pour the soup into a mug or bow, squeeze the lemon on top, and serve hot
Notes
You can also add turmeric for extra healing properties.
