Pasta chips

I love pasta in any form in comes in.

I'd never tried them as chips though so I wanted to try it out, and it turns out they're not too bad at all. Perfect to have by my side to munch on as I work through my emails of the day!

You could use any seasoning you wanted according to the pasta you like. Same for the dipping sauce. Pesto, Alfredo, whatever you want. I normally would cook my pasta sauce but for the sake of convenience I used an olive tomato based sauce from a jar I had in the fridge

Prep time: 5 mins

Cooking time: 20 mins

Serves: 2

Ingredients

100g pasta of your choice, farfalle or fusilli work well

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried rosemary

1 tsp dried oregano

2 tbsp grated parmesan

1 pinch dried chili flakes

Olive oil spray

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup pasta sauce of your choosing

Method

  1. Cook your pasta in salted water until well done, you want them to be extra soft.

  2. Drain and place in a bowl, mixing with all the ingredients except for the pasta sauce.

  3. Place in the air fryer for 15 minutes, removing the tray and shaking it/mixing it half way for even cooking.

  4. Serve on a plate, sprinkle with salt, and dip in the pasta sauce.

Notes

  • Don't skip the pasta cooking stage. Putting raw pasta in the air fryer will just give you stomach aches

  • Similarly, cook the pasta past aldente, you want every part to be cooked for proper digestion
