Crispy pickles
I was craving a snack last night after a few drinks with a girlfriend, and had some pickles in the fridge so thought I'd whip up a tasty snack.
If you're not into pickles, you can always use other ingredients, I've put some suggestions in the notes.

They're salty, crispy and have a little spice when you dip it into the hot sauce mayo.
You can totally deep fry these too, I just didn't have enough oil to do that so I popped them in the air fryer.
Prep time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 6 mins
Serves: 2
Ingredients
6 pickles
1 egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 cup parmesan
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup plain flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp mayonaise
1/2 tsp Franks Hot Sauce
Olive oil spray
Method
Cut your pickles into bite size pieces.
Mix the flour and salt in one bowl, beat the egg in another bowl, and mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika and parmesan on a plate.
Toss the pickles in the flour, before coating in the beaten egg. Then cover each pickle piece in the breadcrumb mixture.
Place the crumbed pickles in the air fryer and set for 6 minutes, taking them out half way to give them a bit of a shake, then put back in until the timer goes off.
While the pickles are cooking, mix the mayonnaise and hot sauce together, adding more hot sauce if you like it spicier.
Serve the pickles hot with the sauce.
Notes
Not everyone likes pickles, but this also works with other pickled vegetables so feel free to try it with olives or artichokes.
You can definitely deep fry these, they'll come up even more golden and crispy.
